Privacy Policy

Oprius will:
  • Respect your privacy choices at all times.
  • Keep your data in the strictest confidence on secure servers.
  • Communicate clearly with you about how it protects your data.
  • Comply with US and Canadian privacy policies.

Oprius wishes to give you as much control over your interaction with us as possible. You can surf our web site and access information about our services without revealing your identity. But in certain instances, such as when subscribing, we will ask you to provide information about yourself by completing and submitting a form.

If you decide to subscribe to the Oprius service, we will ask you to provide us information such as your name, address and e-mail address. When you provide us personal information, you understand and agree that we may record and use this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy described here.

1. Client Data Storage

Although Oprius Software owns the data storage, databases and all rights to the Oprius application and code base, you retain all rights to your data.

2. Collection of Information

We collect: email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on pages visited, personal details when registering for Oprius, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to: improve the content of our Web pages, improve the quality of our service, identification and authentication, contact, research, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if Oprius Software is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Oprius Software will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
3. Visitors

Oprius provides demos of its service offering designed to help you choose the services that are right for you. If you are not an online subscriber and are just browsing our service, we do not collect, capture, or retain personally identifiable information.

4. Registered subscribers

When you initiate an online application for one of our services, our website will request personal information, which allows us to provide the service you requested. You can then perform certain tasks, such as corresponding with us; importing, manipulating, reviewing or exporting your data. We only collect the information necessary to interact with you.

Oprius also gathers data to track web site usage such as: number of hits, pages visited, and the length of user sessions in order to evaluate the usefulness of our site.

5. Use of cookies

Cookies are data sets assigned by a web server to the browser on your computer. They help sites to recognize visitors and keep track of their preferences by including an anonymous unique identifier and a stored value. Oprius does not embed your personal data, user name, password, or any potentially sensitive data in its cookies.

Cookies are required to use the Oprius service. Please ensure your browser accepts cookies from Oprius.

We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to login to your Oprius account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.

6. Email Scanning

Oprius scans all incoming and outgoing email with spam detection algorithms. This is done to reduce unwanted incoming email messages and improve deliverability when sending email messages. Scanning is an automated process without the need for human intervention. Oprius reserves the right to manually inspect emails without your consent for the sole purpose of reducing both incoming and outgoing spam from our servers.

7. Privacy and security during your online sessions

The information you provide to us online is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL is the leading security protocol for data transfer on the Internet and is widely used by financial institutions and in online payment systems. The technology scrambles (encrypts) your account information as it moves between your browser and the Oprius servers. Information encrypted in this way is nearly impossible for anyone other than Oprius to read.

8. Third party sites

We are not responsible for the information collection practices of the non-Oprius links you click on within our service (links received in an email for example). Please review the privacy policies of the linked web sites for your own security.

9. Disclosure

Oprius Software may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.

10. Changes

Oprius Software may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Oprius primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.

11. Your concerns

We welcome any questions or concerns you may have about any privacy issues. If you have any questions regarding our Privacy Policy please contact [email protected] or use the contact information shown on our web site.
