How much does Oprius cost?
Subscriptions are $14.99 per month on a monthly plan and as low as $13.75
per month, if paid yearly.
Is there a limit on the number of contacts etc. I can store?
No. We do not limit the number of contacts, tasks, emails, or anything in Oprius. We also do
not charge you for using Oprius. As you grow your business, you pay the same price with no
hidden costs or need to upgrade to another version.
I have very little experience with computers. Will I be able to use Oprius?
Through usability testing we know our software is easy to use. We have people who do not regularly use computers work with Oprius, and observe how they use it. From these observations we designed Oprius to ensure it is easy for everyone, not just computer people, to use.
When you first log into your account you will be greeted with a short video to show you around the system, then you can watch other videos that introduce different aspects of the application.
If at any point you are unclear about what something does, you can always click the
question mark at the top of the page to access our help system. You can also give us a
call at 1-877-7-OPRIUS and we will be happy to answer your questions.
Can I use Oprius and keep my old Email address?
Absolutely. From the Preferences page you can easily
set up your account to send Emails from any Email address you
have. You can also have your Email automatically forwarded to
your Oprius account from most types of Email accounts.
How many Contacts, Emails etc. can I store in my Oprius account?
There is no limit to the number of Contacts, Emails or any
other data in your account, and you will not be charged extra for
exceeding a certain number of Contacts or Emails.
Do I have to download or install something onto my computer for Oprius to work?
No. All you need is an Internet connection and your web browser.
How often will I have to install updates?
Never. Because Oprius is an online service, you will never have to install anything.
All updates will be done automatically on our end, without interrupting your work.
Who owns my data if I store it in Oprius?
You own all of the data you store with Oprius. Therefore you are free to input and
export data from your account whenever you like. No one from Oprius will ever look
at or use your personal data without your consent.
What if I decide to stop using Oprius?
If you ever decide to stop using Oprius for any reason, you can export all your Contact
information into a number of formats. Your data will be safely secured and waiting
for you if you decide to reactivate your account later.
Do I have to manually enter all my Contact information into my new Oprius account?
Oprius can import Contacts from just about any source: Outlook, Palm, Mac Mail, Address Book,
Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, and many others. We also import generic Excel (CSV) and
vCards which allows you to bring in contacts from just about anywhere.
Do I need to have my Contacts give permission (Opt-in) to be on my mailing lists?
Yes. Oprius offers an easy-to-use Permission Manager to keep track of which Contacts have
given their permission to receive group mailings. It is important to ensure that your
Contacts want to receive the Emails you are sending to them. Mailing them a Permission
Request through Oprius will reassure them that their privacy is respected.
How can I enter my work or other schedules into Oprius?
To enter anything that happens on an ongoing basis, such as a work schedule or your
child's soccer practice, you can create recurring Appointments or Tasks.
Oprius will then automatically add these dates to your Calendar or Task List for you.
Can I add people who visit my website to my Oprius Contact list?
If you have your own website, you can use our Lead Capture Widget to allow visitors to your site a way to provide their contact information. All you need to do is paste the block of code from the Lead Capture Widget page into your web-page.
Once you do that, this widget will show up on your web-page allowing visitors to submit
their names, contact information and an optional note to you. As soon as you get a
response, it will show up on your Home screen in Oprius, where you will get an option
to approve or reject each new lead or Contact.
Is it possible to customize parts of the application to fit my needs and my particular business?
Yes. You can customize your Groups and Sources and create unlimited Custom Fields.
Custom fields let you record whatever additional information is most important for you to know about your Contacts.
Groups are a common set of "baskets" shared by your Contacts, Tasks, Calls and Appointments. These can be customized to match the way you organize things.
Sources allow you to set where a lead came from, using a drop-down menu.
There are also a number of other preferences that can be changed to fit your needs better.
I have some Emails that I send out on a regular basis. Is there a way to save these and send them again later?
You can easily store any Email you would like to re-use in the future, and retrieve it
from a convenient drop-down menu, whenever you need to send it.
Can I set reminders to help me remember my appointments?
You can set Email or Text Message reminders to be automatically sent
to you before your Tasks, Appointments and Calls are due. You can also set how far in
advance you want to receive a reminder.
